Color is dependent on the two cockapoos mated at the time and their genetic background.
All cockapoos have a base color of black or chocolate/brown. If they have a black nose and foot pads their base color is black. If they have a liver/brown nose and foot pads, their base color is chocolate/brown. However, not all dogs will express their base coat color. Instead they may express a yellow/red color depending on genetics, otherwise, known as buff, apricot, or red or a shade in between, ie some apricots may be closer to buff or closer to red.
Our cockapoos can be black, chocolate, red, apricot, or buff with or without white markings. We also occasionally produce partis, phantoms, sables or tri-colors.
